The Council of Ministers, chaired by the Prime Minister, Abdalla Hamdok, reviewed in its sitting Wednesday reports of the Cabinet Affairs Ministry and the State Minister for Foreign Affairs on the means to tighten the coordination between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the other ministries regarding the external relations and the foreign delegations.
The Cabinet has affirmed the importance of coordination and the good preparation for the topic and the meetings for officials to achieve the aspired goal.
In a press statement, the Minister of Culture and Information and government spokesman, Faisal Mohamed Salih, said that the Council of Minister has reviewed a report of the Minister of Industry and Trade on the causes of bread shortage, asserting the endeavor to tighten the control on the monitoring and distribution of wheat flour in coordination with the resistance committees.
Faisal indicated that the Minister of Energy and Mining also presented a report on the fuel crisis including his visions for solving the shortages in petroleum materials.
He added that the meeting has underscored the importance of finding practical and real solutions for the economic crisis and adopting practical arrangements to benefit from the vast resources in Sudan in the framework of addressing these issues in the long run.
