Cabinet emergency meeting reviews the position of flour and fuel supplies in the country

The Prime Ministers Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk hold yesterday evening an emergency micro meeting of the council minister include ministers of Cabinet Affairs, Finance and Economic Planning, Energy and Mining and industry and trade
The meeting discussed the issues of people livelihood specially the situation of supplying and the distribution of four and petroleum materials
The meeting be informed on the causes of the severe shortage in bread which represented in the decrease in flour production of the treadmills from 100.000 sack to 53.000 sack
The meeting been acquainted with the results of minister of industry and trade with Mills owners where it was agreed to address the situation during the next two days, production rose today to 72 thousand sack, and flour began to be distributed to bakeries during the day. The meeting reassured the position of wheat imports from abroad for the next three months
In this regard the meeting expressed of its appreciation to the Resistance Committees and Neighborhoods for their contribution in monitoring the distribution of flour and bread
 
The meeting discussed the citizens suffering incurred by to obtain petroleum products and the reasons that led to this, which were partial breakdowns in the crude oil pipelines, which led to the interruption of two-thirds of the energy of the oil refinery, in addition to the delay in the import of petroleum materials, in light of the current situation, the meeting concluded the following procedures: -
 
Conducting an immediate investigation into the causes of partial failure of the pipeline and holding all those responsible for the suffering of the citizen accountable
Directing the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning to 
financial provision  adequate and required financial resources to meet the country's needs for a year, the meeting also directed the ministries of Finance, Economic Planning, Energy and Mining to accelerate the procedures for clearance the four ships that reached Port Sudan
assured on the procedures of the Ministry of Energy and Mining to rationalize fuel distribution quotas for all public and private vehicles
The meeting decided to form a committee of Ministers of Cabinet Affairs, Finance, Economic Planning, Energy, Mining, Industry and Trade to be in a permanent meeting to follow up on the crisis and implement the decisions taken. The Ministerial Committee will continue to own the citizens with the new facts
