After returning from Chad: dr. Hamdok confirms that the visit served its purpose
The Prime Minister Dr. Abdalla Hamdok ensured the strength of the Sudanese-Chadian relations, pointing to the importance of strengthening and developing them in a way that meets the interests of the two brotherly peoples
Dr. Hamdok said in a press statement at Hassan Jamous International Airport, N'Djamena that his visit and his accompanying delegation to the Republic of Chad was successful by any measure and that it had served its purpose, as it provided them an opportunity for serious and fruitful dialogue with the Chadian government and to discuss a number of joint cooperation files between the two countries, especially the security and economic files
The prime Minister thanked the government and people of Chad for the welcome, good hospitality and reception, expressing his hope for more joint cooperation with Chad
Dr. Hamdok has returned to Khartoum today after an official visit to the Chadian capital N'Djamena, it lasted two days during which he held talks with the Chadian President Idriss Deby as well as his meeting with the Sudanese community in Chad, while the ministerial delegation accompanying his sovereignty held a meeting with the Chamber of Commerce and Businessmen and the Chadian Parliamentary Friendship Association
