Committee to consider the issue of arbitrarily dismissed from the civil service holds a press conference

The Committee to consider the case of arbitrarily dismissed from the civil service from June 1989 to December 2018, held a press conference at the Council of Ministers on Monday 25 November 2019 the acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, Ms. Hanim Burhanuddin Mohammed, Chairperson of the Committee pointed out that the transitional government has given the issue of the dismissed paramount importance to rehabilitate them and settle their rights. She pointed out that the Committee has developed a clear working methodology during its meetings Indicating that the actual procedure will be through filling out forms to collect the data of the dismissed persons in the ministries, units and various government institutions

For his part the under Secretary of ministry of Culture and Information Spokesperson of the Committee Mr. Rashid Saeed Yagoub said that the discharged people were classified, stressing that the ministries have set up offices to receive their applications and each ministry or unit to fill in the form of dismissed and submitted to the Committee Referring to the absorption of the arbitrarily dismissed will be in the same functional degree occupied by their colleagues in the service. He explained that people over the age of (65) years will be reviewed their pension adjustments made under the former regime like their colleagues in order to achieve justice
