PM stresses the proceeding in achieving sustainable development

Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk affirmed that the transitional government's top priorities are to achieve lasting peace and lay the base blocks for an economy established on sustainable development. As well as the establishment of freedoms, enhancing the role of Youth and Woman by achieving fair representation in the structures of government throughout the country , this came during the prime minister addresses the opening session The fourth meeting of the Sudan Research Group, which is held at the headquarters of Petronas Company in Khartoum under the slogan (Towards lasting and sustainable development in Sudan) in the presence of a number of ministers and officials of the State
 
In this regard, the Prime Minister pointed to the availability of will and joint action to lead the government to achieve peace and address the economic problem in all its aspects by reforming the state organs and establishing a balanced foreign policy that serves the interest of the country
Assuring  "on the importance of the approach taken and the need to pay attention to education and scientific research to achieve growth and sustainable development, especially the country is experiencing" comprehensive "reform includes reform of the public sector and banking and address the problem of debt in coordination with brothers and all development institutions. He also pointed to the availability of economic necessary potential in the country and it is rich in resources for the creation of a comprehensive renaissance based on scientific research and studies
 In a related context The Minister of Finance explained that the coming period will witness a radical treatment of the distortions in the macroeconomic, curb inflation and public service reform in a comprehensive manner. A member of the group Mr. Abdul Azim Mohammed Al Hassan, said in a press statement that the conference aims to benefit from the expertise of researchers at home and abroad to contribute to the creation of a unified public opinion on how to face the economic obstacles in the transitional period and move towards comprehensive and sustainable development prospects in fulfillment of the slogan of the revolution (freedom, peace and justice), adding that "The fourth conference is the first of the group inside Sudan after it was held abroad under the old rule affirmed that “They welcomed the promise of the Prime Minister to consider the recommendations of the conference and include them in alternative policies and programs in the coming period
 
The Sudanese Research Group is a network of specializations  researchers, policy makers and practitioners who work in the field of development, conflict resolution and issues related to Sudan. The group  
was established in 2003 in the United Kingdom and worked on organizing a number of training courses and workshops. The forum will last for three days, during which a number of research papers will be presented by a number of researchers and experts
