The joint meeting of the ministerial sectors discusses the guidelines for the fiscal year 2020

The joint meeting of the three sectors of the Council of Ministers, chaired by Mr. Omar Bashir Manis, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, discussed Today, Monday, November 11, 2019, a report on the methodology and guidelines for preparing the fiscal year 2020 budget presented by Dr. Ibrahim Al-Badawi, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, budget included a number of policies and procedures in the areas of economic reform, improving people's livelihood, reducing poverty rates, reforming state agencies, achieving security and the rule of law, focusing on what was stated in the government's program and priorities for the transitional period

 

The meeting assured to increase and mobilize resources and radical management for any sparing and attention to the agricultural sector and producers, institutional reform of levels of local government, along with increased spending on education, health, and services, especially in the states, review of the civil service, addressing distortions in salaries and wages, and also benefiting from Scientific research outputs contribution to the development of the economy
