PM affirms Sudan's keenness to strengthen partnership with African-Pacific Group

The Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk expressed Sudan's appreciation for the solidarity of the African Pacific Group countries with his country. This came when he met today at his residence in Brussels, Mr. Patrick Gomez, Secretary General of the African Pacific Group
 
The Prime Minister was briefed on the efforts of the group and the projects on its agenda, especially with regard to strengthening the partnership with the European Union. The meeting also dealt with the current projects adopted by the group, especially with regard to supporting the private sector and achieving sustainable development goals and enhancing the role of women and climate change
 
For his part, Mr. Patrick Gomez expressed his pleasure at this important meeting with the Prime Minister
He said that they have been following the developments in Sudan and the change that has been made which aims to achieve the aspirations of the Sudanese people
Mr. Gomez extended an invitation to the prime minister to attend the summit of the group of African-Pacific countries to be held in the Kenyan capital Nairobi
