PM heads to Brussels on Sunday
The Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk will head to Brussels on Sunday at the head of a high-level delegation consists of a number of ministers in response to an invitation from the EU leadership
The Acting Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Sudan to the Kingdom of Belgium, Mr. Hamid Al-Jazouli said in a press statement that the Sudanese Embassy has completed all arrangements and preparations for the visit, noting that the Prime Minister will meet with senior officials of the European Union. He will also brief the EU Council of Foreign Ministers on the political developments in Sudan, especially the ongoing efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace, as well as the vision of the transitional government to lead the stage
Mr. Al-Jazouli added that the invitation for the visit came at an important and articulated time in the history of Sudan after the success of the glorious December Revolution and the formation of the institutions of the transitional period, he pointed out that the European Union remained a political supporter of the process of change in Sudan through the statements issued by its various institutions in support of the glorious December Revolution
