The joint meeting of the technical committees of the three sectors of the Council of Ministers chaired by Mr. Othman Hussein, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Discussed on Thursday 7, November 2019 the methodology and guidelines for preparing the budget for the fiscal year 2020which were guided by the emergency program and the ten priorities of the transitional government focus on the SDGs in line with the items budget

The budget directives included a number of policies and measures in the field of economic reform, improving people's livelihood, reducing poverty rates, reforming state organs and the rule of law by focusing on increasing revenues, controlling public expenditure, support the payments balance, attracting new external resources and activating the role of the domestic and foreign private sector to stop the economic decline
