Cabinet directs the preparation of working papers and plans to promote the rounds of negotiations

The Council of Ministers heard on Wednesday morning October 23, 2019 an enlightenment from the ministers concerned with the four axes of the peace process, namely the security arrangements, the political axis, the axis of legislation and laws and the axis of economic development
 
The Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Faisal Mohammed Saleh explained that the Council of Ministers directed the ministers to prepare working papers and plans to help in the success of the next rounds of negotiations.
The Minister of Culture and Information said that the Council also focused on the need to prepare clear plans for the development of war zones to be discussed in the negotiation tracks
 
He explained that the Council discussed the formation of the Independent Investigation Commission and directed the need to involve women in the membership of the Commission and in peace negotiations, indicating that this matter will be addressed and announced soon, he pointed out that the Council also listened to the enlightenment of the Acting Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Madani Abbas Madani on the economic situation in the country, especially the increase in the dollar price, he directed a quick treatment of the situation through the need to activate the consumer protection law to control and Market observation and procedural steps will be announced within days to address the issue of bread, he added that the visit of the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Dr. Ibrahim Badawi to the United States to attend the meetings of the IMF and the World Bank will have positive results on the economic reality in general
 
Mr. Faisal said that the council listened to some ministers who are board members of a number of companies who talked about the huge financial incentives offered to the ministers. indicating that the ministers have returned these incentives, he said that the Council of Ministers decided to discuss the subject of these incentives, considering that the figures mentioned numbers are large and huge
The Minister of Culture and Information explained that the Council took enlightenment by the diplomatic victory achieved by Sudan's accession to the Human Rights Council in Geneva. He said this was a recognition by the international community that Sudan was taking its position in the international environment and returning to sites that had been isolated for decades
