Accession of 230 buses to Khartoum State fleet

The Ministerial Committee to study the situation of public transport in the country held its meeting on Sunday 29 September 2019 at the Council of Ministers chaired by Federal Minister of Federal Governors  Dr. Yousef Adam Aldhi in the presence of Ministers of  Interior, Energy and Mining, Youth and Sports, and a number of relevant concern
The meeting reviewed the committee's tasks and functions of studying the public transport situation in the country and presenting practical proposals to address the short, medium and long term.

The governor of Khartoum, Lt. Gen. Ahmed Abdoun, said that the meeting focused on the efforts of the Khartoum state government to resolve the transportation shortage in the state, announcing in this regard the accession of 230 buses arrived from Saudi Arabia and the State of Qatar to the state's transport fleet. (390) Bosa also came from Saudi Arabia and Qatar to help solve the state's transportation issue

The Wali said that the meeting secured the need for concerted efforts between the ministries and the relevant authorities to solve the issue of transportation and activate local trains in Khartoum state
