Prime Minister witnesses the signing ceremony for the establishment of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Sudan5

The Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk witnessed the signing ceremony for the establishment of an office in Sudan for the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights

The Sudanese side was signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Asmaa Mohamed Abdallah, and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet was signed  for  the organization side

In a special statement after the signing ceremony, the Prime Minister affirmed Sudan's commitment to international human rights conventions and treaties and said that the first priority of the transitional government is to download the slogan of revolution, freedom, peace and justice on the ground

He pointed out that his visit to New York and his participation in the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly comes with the aim of informing world leaders that Sudan, which has long missed international forums, is now returning to occupy its leading and pioneering  position among countries
