PM meets the Director of the World Bank

The Prime Minister  Dr Abdalla Hamdok met on Tuesday  23 of September  2019 in the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meetings, with the President of the World Bank Group David R. Malpass, the Prime Minister was accompanied  with the Foreign Ministry  Mrs. Asma Mohamed Abdullah and Members of the Sudanese Diplomatic Corps
Mr. Malpass affirmed the World Bank's readiness to support the programs of the transitional government, explaining that the World Bank will work with the transitional government to develop and strengthen the Sudan economy

The meeting dealt with readiness of the international  bank to support Sudan particularly the regard of removing Sudan name from the list of countries harboring terrorism, the dossier of writing off foreign debts beside Support peacebuilding projects
