PM meets with the prime minister of Norway

The prime minister Dr. Abdullah Hamdook met on Monday 23 of September in the framework of the 74 UNGA the prime minister of Norway kingdom Mrs. Arena solobark
Prime Minister expressed Sudan's appreciation and gratitude to Norway's stances in support of Sudan and its support for the choices and aspirations of the Sudanese people and their peaceful popular victory, 
He reiterated Sudan's aspiration to continue this support, especially with regard to the government's efforts to remove Sudan from the list of state sponsors of terrorism, debt relief and normalization of relations with international financial institutions
The Prime Minister emphasized that the transitional government's top priority was to build a just, comprehensive and sustainable peace to stop the war and complete the peace process
 
He noted the role played by the European Union and Norway in particular in this regard and expressed optimism that the next rounds of negotiations with the armed movements would be a good opportunity to reach a sustainable peace, the prime minister also made clear that the economic challenge is an urgent priority for the government and that they view economic reform as a key gateway to stability, this requires the government to intensify its efforts to achieve these desires in an economy isolated from the global economy by sanctions and terrorism
For her part the Norwegian prime minister affirmed the old friendship between her country and Sudan and its readiness to work with the new government and support the reform process especially in the areas of peace, economic reform and the rule of law, based on the needs expressed by the Transitional Government, Stressing that Norway stands by Sudan as a trustworthy partner
The Prime Minister of Norway invited the Prime Minister to attend the First International Conference on Economics and Business Administration, which will be held in June 2020
