The Prime Minister, Dr Abdalla Hamdok, has underscored Sudan keennesss to cement its relations with Egypt ina way that serves the interest of the two sisterly countries.
This came when he received Monday the Foreign Minister of Egypt , Sameh Shukri, in presence of the Foreign Minister, Asmaa Mohamed Abdalla
The Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Omer Bashir Manis, said in a press statement that the meeting tackled the overall relations and cooperation between Khartoum and Cairo .
He said tthat he visit was the first to be paid to Sudan by the Egyptian Foreign Minister after formation of the civilian government .
Manis said that the Egyptian minister has conveyed the greetings of the Egyptian leadership to the Sudanese government and people, indicating that the Egyptian official expressed Egypt readiness to reactivate the mechanism of joint cooperation to fulfill the aspirations of the two sisterly nations.
He added that the two countries have affirmed their keenness to reactivate the joint cooperation mechanisms for achieving the aspired goals.
