Prime Minister meets Ambassador of France to Sudan
Prime Minister , Dr Abdalla Hamdok met at his office Wednesday Ambassador of France to Sudan , Emmanuelle Blatman the presence of Foreign Undersecretary, Ambassador Omer Dahab.
Director of European and American Affairs at Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Mohamed Abdalla Al-Toam said that the French ambassador conveyed invitation from French President, Emmanuel Macron to the Premier , Hamdok to visit France and hold bilateral talks over seeking ways of possible support that could be provided by France to Sudan in the coming stage , pointing to great concern the French leader ship pays to developments in Sudan and success of its peaceful revolution .
She affirmed her country’s desire to provide every possible support to the new civilian government in Sudan.
The Prime Minister, for his part, expressed deep appreciation to invitation extended from French President , stressing his response to the invitation as soon as possible to strengthen relations between the two countries, referring to support that could be extended by France to Sudan due to its international position and political weight.
He indicated various scopes of economic cooperation which could constitute priorities of work with France in the coming period.
