prime Minister directes to resume the academic year for the primary and secondary schools

The prime Minister Dr. Abdallah Hamdouk directed to resume the academic year for the primary and secondary schools in all states of Sudan maximally on 15 September 2019, on his special meeting today Monday 2 September 2019 at the cabinet of ministers to arrange the resumption of study at the primary and secondary stages, in the presence of a number of ministries and relevant authorities 
 
Dr. Hamdouk also directed the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning to provide the requirements for the resumption of the academic year
 
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education Dr. El-Taher Hassan clarified in a press statement that the meeting reassured the arrangements made by the Ministry of Education in coordination with the relevant authorities to resume the academic year, indicating that the meeting also stood on the technical arrangements for dealing with the days of school lost during the last academic year, pointing out that the meeting was directed at this regard to take advantage of the Saturday holiday and the school tornment to compensate the academic year
 
The governor of Khartoum, Lieutenant General Ahmed Abdoun, announced that the resumption of the academic year in Khartoum State will start on Saturday 14/9/2019, affirming the commitment of the state government to continue the implementation of environmental sanitation campaigns, filling water holes and paving roads leading to schools
