Prime Minister Mu'taz Moussa Abdullah stressed the seriousness and commitment of the government to implement the remaining recommendations of the national dialogue in its various axes, pointing out that the national dialogue was a qualitative leap in the history of Sudan and the African continent as an inspiring model for all peoples to self-push to address all issues through dialogue. And compatibility.
This came during his chairmanship today 6/2/2019 in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers meeting of the Higher Committee to follow up the requirements of national accord and implement the outputs of the national dialogue.
The meeting listened to the reports of the ministerial sectors of the Council of Ministers on the position of implementation of the recommendations of the national dialogue for the years 2017 - 2018, which total (274) recommendations were implemented (194) of them fully implemented by (70.8%) and (64) By (23.3%) to become the percentage of implementation of the recommendations of the national dialogue implemented completely and partially 86.8%.
The meeting also heard statements from the heads of the relevant committees (policies, states, legislation, justice and the media) on the status of implementation of the recommendations directed to double the effort to implement and complete the remainder during the period specified for them. In this regard, it was decided that there will be a monthly meeting of the Higher Committee to follow up the implementation of the outputs of the national dialogue as required.
