Technical Committee for the Economic Development Sector reviews a report on the development of traditional mining

The Technical Committee of the Economic Development Sector at the Council of Ministers reviewed on Sunday February 3, 2019 under the chairmanship of Omar Mustafa Abdul Qader, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, a report on the development of traditional mining. The meeting pointed out that interest in the traditional mining sector comes within the framework of the State's efforts to benefit from the rich wealth of the country, Contributes to increase revenues and provide the state treasury in hard currency, calling for the regulation and standardization of traditional mining and its introduction into the system of the national economy.
The technical committee pointed to the importance of awareness of the two minerals in preserving the environment and human health by finding alternatives that limit the use of chemicals in the extraction of gold.
 
The meeting recommended the need to develop long-term strategies that ensure the exploitation of the gold supplier at the lowest possible cost, while ensuring the highest economic return, and recommended the removal of cuttings that contravene the Mineral Wealth Act of 2015 and the regulation of the traditional gold mining of 2016
