The Council of Ministers, in its regular session on Thursday January 31, 2019, chaired by Prime Minister Moataz Moussa, approved the Youth Employment Action Plan for 2019 presented by Mr. Bahr Idris Abu Garda, Minister of Labor, Administrative Reform and Human Resources Development. ). The public sector in this project represents 16% of the total target, while the private sector represents 3%. The Council of Ministers established a Higher Coordination Committee headed by the Prime Minister and the Minister of Labor, Administrative Reform and Human Resources Development and the Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan. Noting that there will be a periodic evaluation of this plan to ensure their implementation in full, as well as transparent and fair implementation at the level of the center and the states.
The Council has also stressed the need to attract the opinions and proposals of young people in the implementation of this project and work hard to provide employment opportunities for everyone who has the ability to work. As well as the implementation of an information program to illustrate this experience, while encouraging and supporting the efforts of young people in innovations and inventions. The Council stressed the progress of this project with complete disregard for what is stated in the national dialogue document, which is the basic reference for all the work of the state and its programs.
