The Economic Development Sector recommends the need to support and encourage the localization of local industries

The Economic Development Sector of the Council of Ministers recommended in its meeting Tuesday 29 January 2019, chaired by the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Hasab Al Nabi Mussa the necessity to support and encourage the localization of local industries, especially the manufacture of agricultural and industrial equipment to confirm the role of the agricultural sector and industrial in achieving sustainable development in the country
 
The meeting reviewed the performance report of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the year 2018 and its plan for the year 2019. where he praised what the ministry achieved and its role in providing the necessary funding for many local industries, especially the pharmaceutical industry as well as the industries related to oily grains, calling for exerting more efforts to encourage exports and protect local products
 
Regarding the Ministry's plan for the year 2019, the Minister of Industry and Trade, Dr. Mussa Mohamed Karama, said that the most important features of the plan are to promote comprehensive and sustainable industrialization in manufacturing industries and to link them to the production sites while working on the establishment and development of Industrial complexes in the states for their role in providing jobs and achieving balanced economic development
