Minister of Cabinet affirms the interest of the State in the development of statistical systems

The Minister of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Ahmed Saad Omar, stressed the state's interest in the development of statistical systems, especially that the census is the main basis for the comprehensive development process in the country, as well as providing the appropriate environment for the employees of the system.
 
This came during his address on Monday morning, December 31, 2018 in the Council of Ministers in the functions of the Central Statistical Organization and recommended the sovereignty entrusted to the need to respect time and investigate the accuracy and credibility in the process of providing statistical information, calling for the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of information because of their close connection to national security of the country, Which is linked to statistical work in the country in support of the economic reform programs pursued by the state.
 
For his part, Karem Allah Abdel Rahman, Director General of the Central Statistical Organization, presided over the Council of Ministers for its interest in the census, explaining that the Authority will do its utmost to obtain statistical information in support of decision-making.
