Cabinet approves the budget fiscal of the year 2019
The Cabinet has held its regular meeting this morning Tuesday, December 18, 2018 chaired by Prime Minister Mr. Moataz Mousa. The Cabinet deliberated on project of Government budget of the National Government for fiscal year 2019 which aims at realizing four strategic objectives represented in economic reform, improving people's livelihood, reducing poverty rate, fighting corruption, prevalence of the rule of law and the reform of the civil service.
The budget indicated that the GDP growth rate is expected to reach 5.1%, which the contribution amount to a percentage of 27.8% of the agricultural sector and the industrial sector by 28%. The growth is expected to plus by increasing the export sector by 30% , while it expected that the services increase by proportion percentage with the expected increase In the productive and social sectors by a contribution of 44.2%. It o the estimates of public revenue in expected to reach 100 billion Sudanese pounds by increase percentage of 39% up from the estimates of 2018 .
The budget deficit is expected to declines down to 3.3% of GDP. as a result of maintaining Subsidy, and reducing public expending.
The Cabinet approved the fiscal budget of year 2019 and affirmed the importance of effecting firm control, follow up and enhancing the measurement, the evaluation and measurement to grantee the budget implementation and avoiding inconsistency. The Cabinet also affirmed the importance of going a head with the programs of social support whose percentage reach 35% of the budget estimates.
