Technical Committee for the Economic Development Sector stresses the need to increase the rates of livestock exports

The Technical Committee of the Economic Development Sector of the Council of Ministers stressed the need to increase the rates of livestock exports in the coming year and to promote the resettlement of modern technologies and the development and rehabilitation of slaughterhouses and the slaughter of new to keep pace with the expected boom in meat exports as well as the promotion of leather industries. This came in a meeting held on Thursday, 29 November 2018 under the chairmanship of Mr. Musa Omar Abu Qasim Ahmed Undersecretary of the Ministry of Water Resources, Irrigation and Electricity.
 
The meeting discussed the annual performance report 2018 and the 2019 plan of the Ministry of Animal Resources and Fisheries
 
The meeting recommended the completion of the animal census and fish farming, the development of a fish map to promote investment and development of fish resources, as well as the continued development of the dairy and poultry industry and the improvement of breeds.
