The Technical Committee of the Economic Development Sector of the Council of Ministers stressed the importance of providing the necessary funding for the operation of state-owned oil fields and encouraging the use of scientific research and technologies in all mining activities.
The technical committee reviewed the performance report of the Ministry of Oil, Gas and Minerals at the meeting on Tuesday November 2018 under the chairmanship of Omar Farajullah Dafallah, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning. The report reflected the ministry's efforts in developing the oil, gas and minerals sector by increasing the oil reserves and refining capacities.
