Sector of Social & Cultural Development Acquainted with Position of Sector Ministries Regarding E Government Uses

Khartoum: The Sector of Social & Cultural Development  was Wednesday acquainted  in its meeting at the Ministry of the Cabinet which is Chaired by  Professor Sumeiya Mohamed Ahmed Abu Kashawa , Deputy Prime Minister  and Minister of High Education & Scientific Research on the status of the Ministries of the sector with regards to the uses of E government and the challenges facing them

The status was presented by the Ministers of the sector with the participation of the directors of Information Center whereby they were familiarized with the services delivered to the public , computerization of systems inside the ministries , security and protection of information.

This comes in the framework of following up the requirements of the program of the state organs reform with regard to the axis of use of technology

The sector recommended going ahead with developing information system and technology , securing and activating networks and electronic websites at the ministries for speeding up services delivery in addition to rehabilitating infrastructures and qualifying the affiliates of information center.
