Prime Minister stands on the position of the volume of withdrawals from ATM system

Mr.Mutaz Moussa Abdullah, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Economic Planning,stood on the volume of withdrawals from ATM system during the period from 12 to 14 October. This came during his visit on Monday, October 15, 2018 to the Central Bank of Sudan Minister of State for the Council of Ministers, Mr. Tarek Haj Ali, explained that the Central Bank continues to feed commercial banks with banknotes since Friday, October 12, to ensure that ATMs work around the clock to meet the needs of citizens.
The Prime Minister said that the Central Bank will start from today to sign sanctions against banks in exchange for any ATM stops working for 24 hours, and explained that these sanctions will not be less than 20% of the capacity of the machine every day, and revealed a source attended the meeting that the Bank of Sudan He shall go to sign sanctions on the administration of any commercial bank in the event that any action in the banknotes assigned to the ATMs for any purpose other than the deposit in ATMs is proven to the public.

It is worth mentioning that the electronic monitoring room at the Bank of Sudan is following the situation of ATMs in the whole of Sudan, and the immediate data indicate the reasons for the interruption of any exchange, whether it is a technical problem or the absence of the machine from the securities.
