River Nile State
RiverNile Stateis located between Latitudes 16-22North, and Longitudes 32-35South. From the North, it’s bordered by theArab Republic of Egypt from the East Kassala and Red Sea States and on the SouthKhartoum State and from West the Northern State. The River Nile traverse thelands of the State on its way Northwards towards its Mouth, where it is joinedby Atbarah River. The State’s area is 122.1 thousand square Kilometers.

Khartoum State is located in the middle of Sudan, northeastern thereto is the River Nile State, northwestern thereto is the Northern State and at the east and southeastern thereto are Kassala, Al-Gadaref and Al-Gazira States

Northern State is located northern of Sudan, Arab Republic of Egypt delimits it from the north, Greater Libyan Arab Jamahiriya and North Darfur State from the west, North Kordofan State from the south, Khartoum State from southeast, the River Nile State from the east.
Area: 348.697 kilometers square. Population: 57876 persons
