The Economic Sector reviews the Bi-annual Financial Performance Report, 2010

The Economic Sector reviewed in its meeting held in the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers the Bi-annual Financial Performance Report, 2010 presented by Minister of Finance and National Economy, Chairman of the Sector Mr. Ali Mahmoud. The economic Sector discussed reasons of increase of inflation rates and rising in the prices of the basic consumer commodities where the Minister of Finance and National Economy declared that the quantities of locally produced and imported sugar commodity exceed the overall needed amount for of consumers explaining that all problems facing the flow of sugar to market have been completely solved. On the other hand the meeting reviewed a report on preparedness for Al-Hadi season, 2010 presented by Minister of     Animal Resources and Fishery Dr. Faisal Hasan Ibrahim where the meeting recommended tackling obstacles facing agriculture, industry and animal resources sectors in scientific methods and determining expenditure on the different development fields according to priorities and the general plan approved by the Economic Sector.
