The Vice President of the Republic Ustaz Ali Osman Mohammed Taha met this day 21/7/2010 in his office at the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers with the former Austrian Minister of Defense, the member of Austrian Parliament fernal Fansil Bill and delegation accompanying him where they discussed about challenges related to Sudan's unity and its impacts on peace and development in Sudan and the region's countries. The former Austrian Minister of Defense confirmed the importance of keeping Sudan's unity as key and important introduction to keep the Eastern Africa's stability and necessity to play a positive role to achieve unity and stability. Mr. Fernal Fansil praised CPA process and he explained that it has many challenges and opportunities that need adequate time to completely execute the projects with its tangible outcomes on the reality ground.
Mr. Fernal Fansil called for benefiting from E.U experience as unity sample particularly that Europe countries witnessed blood wars among their peoples in the past.  Mr. Fernal Fansil confirmed his country's denial to the recent ICC resolution because it endangers stability and development in Sudan and it has no relation to the reality which he witnessed in Sudan and the great popularity of the President of the republic among his people.
