Vice-President of the Republic Ustaz / Ali Osman Mohamed Taha briefs on the final arrangements for the arrival of permanent envoys of the Arab League to Sudan

Ustaz Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, Vice-President of the Republic briefed on the final arrangements for arrival of Permanent Envoys of the Arab League and the Secretary-General of the Arab League to Sudan in the period 13 - 14 next February. This came when his highness met with the Sudan's ambassador to Egypt Lt. General Abdul-Rahman Sir Al-Khatm. Ustaz Ali Osman also briefed on the ongoing preparations for the convening the Development and Investment Conference led by the Arab League to be held in Juba city on 23 February.  Lt. General Abdul-Rahman Sir Al-Khatm said that he met Lt. General Salva Kiir, the first Vice President and President of the GoSS in the context of arranging his expected visit to Cairo on 7 - 9 February at the invitation of Egyptian Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif. He pointed out that three integrated villages have been established in the three states of Darfur under the auspices of the Arab League and the support of the brotherly Arab countries to contribute in achieving stability, security and return of IDPs to their villages.
